Rail

The London Underground and the Rail Industry in general, is another area where we provide a specialised service and use our skills and expertise to keep Britain’s rail network running smoothly and safely, and for one customer in particular we provide assembly services including turned parts.

The Rail industry uses a vast array of springs including compression springs, torsion springs and tension springs in all manner of sizes, and particularly large wire dimensions for their compression and tension springs.

We manufacture large tension springs for use on pantographs which usually have an associated assembly procedure, which is a service we also provide for some customers if required.

One of the many Pressed parts manufactured by us, namely Tynes, is used on the front of trains for snow clearing.

We manufacture compression, torsion and tension springs as well as wire forms and pressings for a variety of medical applications including springs used for Craniofacial Surgery.

Military

We manufacture all manner of springs used in military applications including aerials, headsets, communication devices and vehicles.
